    Residential Real Estate

    Our History

    Integrity Title & Escrow Company was founded by our CEO, Shina Parker, who took the bold step forward in 1999 and turned her vision of building a first-class, woman owned title company into reality.

    For over two decades, Integrity Title & Escrow Company has built a solid reputation with its residential and commercial real estate partners. Our team of responsive, accurate, and creatively talented experts is experienced with handling the unique and sometimes complex matters associated with closing a commercial real estate transaction, without taking shortcuts.

    In 2015, Integrity Title Commercial launched its Nationwide Commercial Division to better serve the needs of its clients nationally. While each commercial transaction poses its own unique set of challenges, our ability to solve problems and to sort through challenging issues quickly and efficiently, ensures all settlements close in a timely fashion.

    Our Executive Team

    Shina Parker is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Integrity Title & Escrow Company. Her entrepreneurial spirit fueled her determination to change the image, conversation, and culture of the title industry. In 1999, she was inspired to build a first-class woman owned and operated title company. To this day, she continues to satisfy her ultimate objective, which is to serve all clients with respect, dignity, and fairness by means of unbiased pricing and excellent service; to ultimately give clients a peace of mind at settlement.

    With over thirty years’ experience in the real estate title industry, her firm specializes in settlement closings for both commercial and residential clients throughout Maryland, the District of Columbia and Virginia. In 2015, she expanded her real estate Commercial Division to serve her growing commercial clientele nationally. Integrity Title & Escrow Company continues to be a change agent for residential and commercial settlement closings because of their outstanding service, an innovative use of technology, and their knowledge of the latest advances in the industry. As a result, Integrity Title & Escrow Company, LLC. is now recognized as one of the leading woman-owned title companies in the State of Maryland.

    Monzella Saunders Owings

    Monzella Saunders-Owings is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Integrity Title & Escrow Company. As part owner of the company, she oversees the day-to-day internal operations. She has over 20 years-experience as a commercial real estate attorney and serves as the lead counsel for the Commercial Division of Integrity Title. Monzella has an impeccable reputation in the commercial real estate industry and is recognized for her many accomplishments with getting complicated deals done; in particular, the closing of the Water Street Towers, which was the second air rights acquisition in the history of Baltimore City and the acquisition of Exelon corporate headquarters at the Baltimore Inner Harbor.

    Monzella has closed a variety of commercial real estate transactions, both locally and nationally, including municipal bond-financed transactions; LIHTC transactions; FHA and FannieMae commercial loan closings; and affordable housing and new market tax credit deals. Her clients include builders, law firms, developers, hotel chains, commercial lenders, faith-based institutions, and municipal and state housing organizations. She graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a B.A. in Government and Politics in 1988 and earned her J.D. from George Washington University National Law Center in May 1992.

    Kisha Powell

    Kisha Powell is the Vice-President of Integrity Title & Escrow Company. With over twenty-five years’ experience in the title business conducting title examination, title insurance auditing, and settlement closings; Kisha is responsible for overseeing all department operations for Integrity Title in Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia. She specializes in both residential and commercial closings.

    Kisha is an eloquent and effective speaker and teacher on real estate with a focus on the title industry. She conducts numerous continuing education classes on issues pertaining to ethics, fair housing, and title insurance in Maryland. She is an expert with REO and Short Sale negotiations and preparation. Her clients include realtors, brokers, lenders, builders, developers, and investors. Kisha is a licensed Title Producer and Senior Settlement Officer. She earned her B.A. in Political Science and Pre-Law from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.

      Conference rooms are reserved for buyers and sellers only, and are held separately in our conference rooms behind clear plexiglass for additional protection.

    • Curbside Settlements

      Sign and drive convenience. You never have to get out your car - we bring the documents to you for signing (for Refinancing and Seller Signing only)

    • Dyson Air Purification System

      We go above and beyond to protect our clients by installing air purifiers throughout our office and settlement rooms. We also supply face masks and gloves, and a clear plexiglass divider in conference rooms for a safe settlement experience.
